Sacramental Program for Children

Burleigh Parish runs a Sacramental Program each year from February to November. The Sacramental Program is open for children in Year 4 and over.

• To join the program your child must be Baptised Catholic and be at least 8 years old.
• The Sacramental Program involves making 3 different Sacraments - Confirmation, Reconciliation and Holy Communion in 1 calendar year.

This is a different order and arrangement to some other Catholic Parishes but it works well in our Parish. If your child has made 1 sacrament (eg Confirmation) at another Parish they are welcome to join our program only for the Sacrament they wish to complete. The program roughly covers 

Confirmation in term 2

Reconciliation in term 3

Holy Communion in term 4

If taking part in the Sacrament of Confirmation your child will need a sponsor - the sponsor will need to over 16 years old, NOT a parent of the child and be a fully Confirmed Catholic - with a Confirmation Certificate

If you would like to join the program please complete the enrolment form and added documents, including receipt of donation and return to the parish office at

Please note incomplete applications (including missing attachments) will not be accepted or acknowledged.
